Abstract

Results are presented for an internal system-generated electromagnetic pulse (SGEMP) experiment conducted at the AURORA facility on a communications system in its shelter, noting effects of various experimental conditions. Typical fields of 3.28 kV/m and 0.47 Gauss and induced cable currents of 0.42 A compare with computer predictions of 3.5 kV/ m, 1.0 Gauss, and 0.42 A.
