Abstract

The temperature dependences of the pure quadrupole resonance frequencies of the boron trichloride complexes of 2-, 3-, and 4-chloropyridine have been measured together with those of the corresponding 2-, 3-, and 4-chlorobenzotrichlorides. The possibility of analyzing the data in terms of internal rotation of the BC 1 or the CCl 3 group is discussed. The temperature dependences of the NQR frequencies of 2,4-bis(trichloromethyl) 6-( p-chlorophenyl) 1,3,5-triazine are also reported.
