Abstract
An analytical solution for internal ohmic drop in packed bed electrodes with high matrix conductivity and facile mass transfer is applied to data interpretation and design. Deduction of polarization parameters for simple Tafel behavior from experimental observations is illustrated. An effectiveness factor, Thiele‐type modulus relationship is derived to describe electrode utilization under these conditions.
