Abstract

This qualitative study among internal communication practitioners focuses on the relevance and value of the function in organizations. It examines the role of the practitioners in improving business outcomes, culture, internal branding, engagement and connection. The results from a study among practitioners in the region indicate that internal communication is viewed as important to organizational success although there are barriers that currently prevent the function from flourishing.
