Abstract
Differential cross section measurements of atom-diatomic molecule scattering were made for the colliding pairs Ar+N2,Ar+O2,Kr+N2, and Kr+O2. Potential parameters were obtained for various Lennard-Jones (n, 6) potentials and it was found that the Lennard-Jones (20, 6) and (12, 6) potentials gave best agreement to the angular locations of the rainbow extrema.
