Abstract
We simulate a simultaneous double proton transfer controlled by laser fields in carboxylic dimers. The motions of two protons are described by the double minimum potential. Our strategy is to move the population efficiently from the one well to the other by using laser field. In order to incorporate the relaxation effect, the time-evolution of the system is numerically investigated by the density matrix theory. From the resultant solution, we discuss the effective pulse sequence for the control of double proton transfer.
