Abstract
Closed-form expressions are obtained for the closed-loop instantaneous characteristic of a non-linear bandpass system in terms of its open-loop instantaneous characteristic and the negative feedback ratio. A typical example illustrates the effect of linear negative feedback in reducing the system non-linearity and hence the resulting intermodulation product levels.
