Abstract

Diagonalization calculations of then=2 resonant photo-ionization characteristics of multiply-charged helium-like ions C4+, O6+, Ne8+, Mg10+ and Fe24+ are performed in the LS and intermediate-coupling approximations for a few1P1(−) and3P1(−) autoionization levels. The qualitative influence of relativistic effects on characteristics of resonant photo-ionization is shown. A comparison is done with perturbation calculations using the complete Breit operator.
