Abstract

Interlaboratory comparison is performed to ensure repeatability amongst EMC laboratories worldwide regarding specific test methods. The purpose of this paper is to present two interlaboratory comparison methods (CE-LISN and CE-current probe) for conducted emissions (CE) testing used by 6 laboratories. A statistical analysis method is applied, based on the Z performance criterion. A comb generator is used as an artefact and it is moved from one laboratory to another, in order to obtain the measurement results for the final analysis. Suggestions for repeatability improvement are presented. The originality consists of the worldwide program for interlaboratory comparisons started from Continental Automotive Timisoara (Romania). The results presented in this paper continue the work started last year regarding a program for radiated emissions interlaboratory comparison for EMC Laboratories.
