Abstract

It has been shown that interferometric imaging offers a viable solution for imaging through moving scattering media. A simple interferometer, providing a spatial carrier (Fizeau fringes) of adjustable frequency and a lateral shear is described. It is shown to produce, after spatial filtering of the records, images of improved visibility while at the same time having relaxed stability and coherence requirements. Experimental results are provided.
