Abstract

In the process e−e+→e−e+π+π− the two-pion system is produced via two mechanisms—two-photon and bremsstrahlung ones. The first of them gives a C-even system, the second one—C-odd. We study the charge asymmetry of pions in the differential pion momenta cross section obliged by an interference between these two mechanisms. At low effective mass of dipion this asymmetry is directly related to the s- and p-phases of elastic ππ scattering. At higher energies it can give new information about f0(400−1300) meson (former σ), f0(980) meson, etc. We discuss the magnitude of the charge asymmetry and how this effect can be seen at modern colliders.
