Abstract

Energetically overlapping resonances in N2O of the differently localized 1s core electrons of the center and terminal N atoms may interfere. Indications for such interference have been found in angularly and spectrally resolved fragment fluorescence spectra after inner shell excitation of overlapping resonances of the 1s electrons of the central (Nc) and terminal (Nt) nitrogen atom of N2O.
