Abstract

Zinc-Ion Hybrid Supercapacitors In article number 2300630, Bon-Ryul Koo, Geon-Hyoung An, and co-workers present a novel design for high-performance zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors. They achieve this by introducing multifunctional VOSO4 additives, which can spontaneously generate a zinc vanadium hydrate layer with oxygen vacancies on the surface of the electrode. This study provides a new strategy for additive chemistry in supercapacitors and offers insights into the practical application of this approach to other energy storage devices.
