Abstract

ABSTRACT The availability of a Subsea Production System is closely related to the efficiency of subsea equipment maintenance. Therefore, the use of Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV) is a simple and effective method to perform several tasks which can contribute to increase the system availability. This paper presents the ROV interfaces designed for the operation of small valves, connection of hot stab tools and override of Wet Christmas Tree valve actuators. These interfaces will be standardized for the subsea equipment used by PETROBRÁS, after field testing.
