Abstract

The interdisciplinary and multiscale methodological approach presented here seeks to understand the biogeophysical support in repeated interactions with society, highlighting the process of socio-spatial production. It outlines the structuring and adaptation of the Landscape Reading method for didactic workshops in Geographic Information Systems, as a result of the GIS research project applied to Landscape Planning developed in (omitted for blind reading). Structuring such method adapted to geotechnology tools and environmental modeling in a GIS environment proved to be of great value for application in Architecture and Urbanism undegraduate courses, which is undergoing an important process of teaching-learning design methodological adaptation, especially in the areas of landscape, urbanism, and urban and regional planning.
