Abstract

The article examines a theoretical approach to understanding the functioning of two discourses about Arkaim (scientifi c and esoteric) as a clash of two interpretations. This problem is considered using a set of humanitarian approaches through the concepts of interface, interpretation, metaphorization, object, assembly. The author comes to the conclusion about two-way group communication with space, which is expressed through, on the one hand, comprehension of the primary space of Arkaim (the natural givenness of space), on the other hand, cognitive development of space through the reconstruction of secondary space. Secondary space becomes the result of the actualization of one or another interpretation of space and is expressed through the construction of new cultural objects or cultural layers on the primary space.
