Abstract
We have studied the electrical properties of metal-tunnel-thin insulator-silicon (MIS) structures with dysprosium, cerium and neodymium fluorides as insulating layers. The characteristics of interfaces (energy distributions of the density of surface states, surface potential) were determined and mechanisms of the current transfer in these MIS structures were studied.
