Abstract

“When I would suggest that mechanical forces somehow came into play, people would laugh! But to me it was hard to believe the physical forces that are so important at the molecular level, no longer play a role at the cellular and tissue levels”“The challenge here is being able to speak the languages of the different disciplines to create connections and understand the needs across disciplines. One must be open to speak and learn from others and be fearless in making mistakes, similar to speaking a new language.”“All major and disruptive advances in any field come from breaking down boundaries and changing frames of reference.
