Abstract

An interconnection between balance energy and transition energy of light charged particles for nearly symmetric nuclear reactions is presented in this paper. Incident energies varying from 40 MeV/nucleon to 500 MeV/nucleon. Balance energy (Ebal) and transition energy (Et) are found to be depend on the composite mass of reacting system, incident energy and the impact parameter bins of the reaction. It has been concluded that power law behavior is observed in balance energy as well as for transition energy. Our study reveals that there is no interconnection between balance energy and transition energy, throughout the whole impact parameter range for light charged particles.
