Abstract
Records between one and two months long have been obtained from two AMF VACM and four Aanderaa RCM's in a shallow sea wtih strong rectilinear tidal flows and weak residuals. The tidal currents and the residual currents with a daily time scale as recorded by the two meter types were in good agreement. There was poor agreement for the overall mean currents.
