Abstract

The derivation of the three interatomic pair potentials φ ij ( r) for Ni 81B 19 glass and Ni 63.7Zr 36.3 glass is illustrated by the method of using the experimentally obtained partial structure factors S ij ( Q). These interatomic pair potentials are used in static relaxation calculations on model binary arrays. The partial structure factors S ij ( Q) calculated for these arrays are compared with the experimental curves for the real glasses, with good results.
