Abstract

The concept of application that instructs students on efficient usage of the symbol language for specification of form, orientation, location and run-out tolerances as well as verification of those requirements is briefly presented. The new module of the application developed to present specification elements recently introduced in the 1101:2017 to reduce specification uncertainty is shown. The paper contains a few screenshots of the interactive animated sequences that are employed to demonstrate current possibilities of roundness specification as well as relevant verification methods. The application goal is to help students to gain skills of effective usage of the geometrical tolerancing symbols and rules.
