Abstract

In this paper, we propose an interactive movie making method to use appropriation of game elements and describe how the developed system works. This paper discusses the following: i) summary of interactive movie and game elements, ii) selection of game elements for an interactive movie, iii) suggestions on how to combine interactive movie contents and game elements, and the development of interactive movie making to use appropriation of gaming elements. In this study, we have found new feasibilities of hybrid contents and developed an advanced interactive movie using the proposed system, based on the research results of interactive movie making to use appropriation of gaming elements.
