Abstract

This paper explores the effects of interactive kiosks on consumer behavior and buying decisions. The authors suggest that this emerging technology will influence how retailers distribute their goods and services to consumers. It suggests that kiosk technology can standardize information and thereby enhance perceived service quality. Current uses of interactive kiosks and future research opportunities are provided.
