Abstract

The paper presents implementation of interactive application, which simplifies the synthesis of communication systems, using antenna arrays. The procedure requires the calculation of array radiation pattern and communication range, plotting of Blake chart for specified radiation pattern. The application allows interactive synthesis and visualization of these data. Mathematical tools combine direct calculation by decomposition in Kotelnikov series and iteration genetic algorithm. As an example, we consider the problem of the construction of communication line with a mobile object, e.g. UAV at 10 GHz frequency. Antenna array consists of 16 by 8 antenna elements, with quasi-cosecant radiation pattern in elevation plane and radiation pattern with zeros set in the direction of interference in azimuth plane.
