Abstract

It is shown that the transport of heat and electricity in bipolar semiconduc- tors are interdependent and self-consistent. The correlation between the energy and concentration nonequilibrium is established: the recombination is proportional to the second derivative of the temperature with respect to the coordinate. In a general case, thedistributionofthetemperatureinhomogeneoussemiconductorscannotbeconstant or a linear function with respect to the coordinate even in a linear approximation.
