Abstract
It was demonstrated that the replacement of chlorine ion on dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) in the first coordination sphere of platinum changes the result of compound interaction with DNA. DMSO molecule blocks one of the active centers of the platinum compound participating in the formation of coordination bonds with macromolecule, and DNA does not substitute DMSO molecule in the platinum first coordination sphere.
