Abstract

We show that for fermions in the T = (3/2) representation the Sathiapalan-Tomaras generalization of their result for fermions in the T = 1 representation cannot be obtained from the conservation laws of the full SU(2) theory. We explicitly construct the effective Lagrangian for this case, including the J = 0 and J = 1 gauge field fluctuations, and show that the equations of motion couple J = 0 and J = 1 fermions. But the Green's function involving couplings between the J = 0 and J = 1 fermions is suppressed.
