Abstract

The well known for the precessing relativistic jet SS 433 is located near to the center of the radio source W50. The radio shell of W50 is elongated in the direction of the jets to give ear-like structures. X-ray lobes are found between the radio ears and SS 433. We consider the interaction of the jets with the supernova remnant shell for the radio ears and X-ray lobes. We show that the expansion of the shell is enhanced at the part which in being pushed by the jets to yield the ear-like structures, and that the electrons accelerated at the reverse shocks emit synchrotron X-rays, as observed from the lobes. Comparing with the observations, we set constraints on the physical properties of the jets and interstellar matter.
