Abstract
The propagation of a weak high-frequency pulse in the field of an intense standing low-frequency pump wave excited in an acoustic resonator with quadratic hysteretic nonlinearity and relaxation is theoretically investigated. The nonlinear damping coefficient and the carrier phase delay of the weak high-frequency pulse propagating under the action of an intense low-frequency wave are determined.
