Abstract

Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations were used to calculate the time-correlation functions and spectra of the depolarized light scattering from the “magic” sizes xenon clusters Xe13 and Xe19. Three thermodynamic phases of these clusters were studied (solid, solid–liquid coexistence region, liquid) and significant differences between the depolarized Rayleigh spectra of these phases were found.
