Abstract

IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a chronic fibroinflammatory disease characterized by elevated serum IgG4 concentration and infiltration of IgG4+ plasma cells in various affected organs. However, the underlying immunological mechanisms involved in IgG4-RD remain unclear. In this study, we examined circulating peripheral T helper (Tph) cells and CD11c+CD21- B cells, which are known as age-associated B cells, in IgG4-RD to address this issue.
