Abstract

Residence and interaction with a specialized bone marrow microenvironment is important for self-renewal and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells. While prior studies have revealed a key role of bone marrow niche in the initiation and progression of myeloid malignancies, the role of microenvironment in propagation and therapeutic response of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is not well known.
