Abstract
On the basic of preparing β-CD-cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB), studying its formation and action of oil phase molecules with analysis means by using infrared spectrometer, full-automatic interfacial tensiometer, and composite flooding test devices. The results of experiment indicated that the changing of infrared spectrometer confirmed the existence of inclusion complex between β-cyclodextrin and CTAB, and the mole ratio was 1.15:1 at normal temperature. The oil phase molecules had ability to identify β-cyclodextrin of solution, it could displace CTAB out of β-CD-CTAB, changed it into ionized molecules again. It improved oil displacement efficiency significantly by using CTAB in simulated flooding experiment.
