Inter-genre Intra-literary Modifications of the Contemporary Belarusian Poem

Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of experimental forms of the modern Belarusian poem, which are recorded in the literature of the turn of the 20th – beginning of the 21st c. The author pays attention to the genre modifications of the poem formed by contamination of various genre elements. The considered examples are of the modern types of synthesis – inter-genre intra-literary interaction, which is the result of the manifestation of a New literary situation. The author has established that modern Belarusian writers, freeing themselves from genre stereotypes fixed in the poetic tradition, experiment with the canonical features of the poem, creatively changing and enriching them. The article presents a palindrome poem, an essay poem, an akrapoema, a prose poem, a doujinshi remake poem, etc. This allows us to consider the genre of the poem as a complex and dynamic system that develops in line with general literary processes.
