Abstract

The measurement of a condition of polarization of intensive and wide-aperture laser radiation by classical methods is practically impossible. One of probable paths of the solution of this measurements is the use of thin-wire bolometric grid convertors having high optical durability, small lag, absence of restrictions on a maximum size of the source aperture and being polarizing elements. This work justifies a technique of a measurement of main parameters of elliptic polarization of radiation (relative semiaxes of an ellipse and their angular directions in a cut of the optical beam) by three bolometric grids with nonlinear performances of transformation caused by linear temperature associations of main bolometer physical parameters.
