Abstract
Resonance peak spectral splitting (RPSS) in the intensity modulation ofa hybrid soliton pulsed source, where fibre Bragg gratings are used asan external cavity, can be suppressed by introducing a suitable linearchirp rate in a Gaussian apodized grating. Antireflection-coatedreflectivity and gain suppression factor does not strongly affect theRPSS.
