Abstract
The integrated intensities of bands in the first positive system of nitrogen have been measured by the method of photographic photometry, the high-frequency discharge, the direct-current discharge and the afterglow of active nitrogen being used as sources. The measurements show that in the cases examined the probability of transition between two vibrational levels is independent of excitation conditions.
