Abstract
The authors conclude from their work that pipes with internal annular turbulizers to be used as heat exchange surfaces both with convective heat exchange and with heat exchange in a biphase flow are a promising feature in tubular evaporators, because they make it possible to reduce by about one half the power requirement of evaporators with forced circulation.
