Abstract

The paper contains theoretically substantiated conditions of hydrodynamic regulation of the pH of the porous solution in concentrated aqueous dispersion systems without introduction to them of aggressive chemical reagents. The provision of optimal pH values makes it possible to raise the electrokinetic potential of disperse particles and, accordingly, the rate of the electric osmosis flow of liquid. The experimental investigations carried out showed that the use of the proposed method provides a possibility to intensify electric osmosis in clay-containing dispersion systems and secure its stability over time.
