Abstract

Study of behaviour of floating up bubbles in the mixture of transformer oil with carbon nanotubes under the action of high electric field was carried out. The possibility of using carbon nanotubes to create hydrodynamic flows in a liquid dielectric at a very low concentration of nanotubes is shown. It is assumed that the mechanism of the formation of flows is the injection of charge from the surface of nanotubes.
