Abstract
Intelligent systems are the man-made technologically advanced machines that acquire data from the sensors; do data analysis from the acquired data for feature extraction, classification, and decision making; and can learn from its past experience. 'Ihese machines are integrated with various technologies that make them intelligent such as AI (artificial intelligence), machine learning, soft computing, expert systems, neural networks, and machine vision. This book chapter aims to briefly explore some of the well-known real life practical applications of the intelligent systems in healthcare domain where they show potential in effectively solving the real world problems so that the readers can be made aware about the intelligent healthcare technologies and there potential in this field. Moreover, it also explore about how these intelligent technologies are used in healthcare, there benefits and at last the chapter concludes with its future vision.
