Abstract

We study the intelligent states associated with the Holstein-Primakoff realization of (2). The explicit expressions of these states in terms of the Gauss hypergeometric functions are derived and their statistical properties are investigated in detail. It is shown that in some special or asymptotic cases these states turn out to be such important states as the binomial states, number states, Glauber coherent states, squeezed coherent states, etc in quantum optics.
