Abstract

This paper attempts to explore the various factors which affects placements, productivity along with the learning goal orientation of engineering students, Employability is an extent to which employee can perform with the fast changing work style in the organizations, With the help of literature review this paper defined employability as possessing skill set, self-defining attribute which an employer expects from an individual. As the various literature In India employability is the collection of all the necessary skills which helps an individual to get a hold of a job. In this research paper we measure the impact of institutions, faculty engagement, student engagement, on the Employability along with to identify the impact of gender, career development services and self-awareness on employability. A sample size of 144 respondents consisting of based on the judgment sampling, all the respondents were the students of engineering course in which out of 144 participants, (77 participants) are males and (67 participants) are females. Regression Analysis were applied to analyse the effects, Result of the study indicates, The Faculty Engagement (FE) plays the important role in getting the employment for the Engineering students as the faculty engagement have the highest mean.
