Abstract
The question of monitoring the Internet in order to detect criminal activities is discussed in the paper. Designing a set of computer tools (an environment) is proposed that are assigned for the continuous, automatic (by means of software agents) monitoring. The environment is in turn appropriately configured in order to gain a particular functionality. As an example the prototype for the WWW pages monitoring is presented.
