AbstractAccording to Gartner, a leading information technology (IT) research and analysis firm, companies are moving to improve their Business Process Management (BPM) systems by integrating them with their Business Intelligence (BI) Systems—thus making them an “intelligent.” Companies with these new systems would arguably have a competitive advantage. But is this really true?
