Abstract

The paper presents a research project which aimed to design and develop an intelligent approach for the integration of heterogeneous data and knowledge sources in personalized healthcare. The integration profile we propose is mainly focused on remote monitoring of patients with arterial hypertension and chronic heart failure. This clarifies main temporal data used by event detection systems and limits it to systolic/diastolic pressure and heart rate. Our aim is to design and propose software component for such a system which makes it possible to reconstruct the whole remote monitoring and treatment process by connecting event logs. The analysis of the reconstructed process done by comparing with an expert system which contains different rules for monitoring/treatment process optimization.
