Abstract

Trends for a new efficient and sustainable building process, through the use of intelligent nanotechnologies, eco-active and nanostructured nanomaterials. Requirements for safety measures and smart devices, for buildings that affect air pollution, along with construction, industry and transport activities. So technological innovation and energy efficiency objectives, with inclusive and sustainable industrialization, in building envelopes with high energy performance and sustainability, in line with european regulations and Industry 4.0. The methodologies aim at dematerialized technologies, with the use of LED light connected to IoT and in the interaction with IT intelligent systems, with photovoltaic and communicative potential with the user and the city, on HCL principles. In addition to Oled and Pled on organic active components for the electronics industry, inorganic LED semiconductors are highlighted that conquer the market for reliability, durability, light intensity, high efficiency and low price. They become the protagonists of lighting, in intelligent systems of efficient and communicative building envelopes through lighting with the city. The criteria are those of reduction of energy consumption and visual comfort, with the use of engineered functional materials, with high optical and photochromic properties, low voltage and low impact, with a good return on investment costs. Construction strategies using sustainable nanostructured materials with high luminous potential and lightness, for air quality and low energy consumption, towards LEC (Light-emitting electrochemical cell) technologies. The challenge is in the application of intelligent LEDs connected to efficient and sustainable envelope systems with innovative chromatic performances, eco-design, development and in the perspective of circular economy.
