Abstract

State and territory IQs were calculated using the 2015 PISA scores. The biggest difference being 6.2 points is between the Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania. The IQs were correlated with education at bachelor’s degree level or above for persons aged 20–64 years; gross state product per capita (chain volume measures); life expectancy at birth; percent of the population being Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander; and standardized death rate. Some strong and statistically significant relationships were found. Key Words: Australia, Intelligence, Differential K theory
