Abstract

TheMyrnaBrindCenter of Integrative Medicine at Jefferson University Hospitals, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has combined its expertise, experience, and advanced diagnostics to serve as a leader in the field of integrative medicine and provide state-of-the-art care for people desiring an integrative medicine approach to their health. Now, the recent awarding of a $14 million grant by the Marcus Foundation, Inc., has allowed for the establishment of a new center, the Brind-Marcus Center of Integrative Medicine, in Villanova, Pennsylvania, which opened its doors in December 2015. The new Center has enabled expansion of both clinical and research endeavors as well as cutting-edge technology, including the addition of a unique positron emission tomography–magnetic resonance imaging (PET-MRI) scanner.
